24. Guillotines
Guillotines c. February 2007, by David Potter.
Guillotines is a classic left reef in the South West of Western Australia. The line up is quite a large arena, and the wave itself seems quite easy to get into, but has plenty of power and wall. The paddle out can be a little tricky. You have to walk out over fairly forgiving bedrock, and then negotiate a few fingers of reef, down near the end of the wave. The appropriately named ‘Gallows’ is nearby.
